Thanks.. also should I start opting to regear my search more towards parts for a 100cc engine, it seems like it is only as fast as it was stock at a 50cc level, yet it just doesn't take as much grief from the wind. I plan on installing a new cam and chain, ....what other cranks could I look into...ignitions , stator variator and clutch assembly etc..(trans., or drivetrain). I need advise on valves, forges pistons, better bearings?'s ...... What could I classify my engine... 50-100 cc
Original it was a gy6 139qmb 49/50cc
Mods include
(Orange) high performance coil ignition plug
(Orange) high performance cdi, no-rev limiter
(GOOFIT) 100cc bbk
My valves are set to around .400, which without the valve cover on sounded squeaky quiet..

The "100cc" 50mm BBK is actually about 82cc in reality, just FYI. Also if your kit came with a head, check to see if the valves are bigger than the stock head. If they aren't, you would probably get more power by using the stock head which would give more compression.

I put my 20my carb on there, set the idle then adjusted the air/fuel mixture.... It blows some smoke after sitting right now , I believe I may need to go with a better CDI, maybe something designed to go better with the bbk.... And new coil as well, any stator advise? And stuck to playing with the car as of right now, however I did like that head idea!! Check out the valve size I might....

I had a Goofit 100cc on my scooter for awhile, with the head it came with and everything. It did blow a bit of smoke after sitting for awhile, but nothing much.

A9 cam is basically the only and best cam upgrade there is for the 139QMB, as far as I know.
