alright guys , my QMB139 is crapping out past 3/4 throttle! never done this before! valve adjustment,too much air ,too much fuel ? any thoughts?

Main jet issue would be my first guess. A plug check from WOT would give you an educated guess as to which way to go.

Make sure your intake didn't loosen up, check that and all other vacuum, carb, and fuel connections.

i had the exact same problem. my scooter would go great untill 3/4 throttle so i thought it was the carb. i ripped the scooter apart and i noticed a very minor crack in my plug wire so i wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape and its good as new.

took the air cleaner off and it ran better!changed jets,not better. looked over plug wire ,taped it up ,no better HELP!!!!

If you took the air cleaner off and it ran better, it likely needs a smaller jet. What jet swap did you do?

went bigger ! dont think thats it though cause its been running fine with that jet for months !

I had the same issue once and finally I tried replacing the diaphragm even though it looked fine and it fixed the issue.

went bigger ! dont think thats it though cause its been running fine with that jet for months ! If you took the air filter off and it improved, you would want to try smaller, not larger. I know I said to try a larger jet at first, but don't go against what the scooter tells you. |

GOT IT!WAAAY TO MUCH AIR!! BOUGHT AN ALUMINUM SPACER TO GO BETWEEN THE INTAKE AND INTAKE PORT,THE THING SAID IT WAS FOR A FIFTY CC,IT IS TOO BIG AND THE O RING GOT PINCHED SO I MADE SOME RUBBER GASKETS TO GO BETWEENIT AND THE PORT ,AND BETWEEN THE SPACER AND INTAKE.THE GAS DETERIATED THE GASKETS ,AT WOT IT WAS TOO MUCH VACUUM AND WAS SUCKING AIR IN! GOT SOME FELPRO GASKET MATERIAL AND MADE NEW ONES ,BINGO!! SCREAMING AGAIN!! :riding: :lol: :rockon:
