I've always had squeaky front brakes on my Keeway Matrix that would only quiet under hard braking. As some of you have mentioned in my videos. I tried new pads, resurfacing rotor nothing worked. Today I decided to remove the ABS unit and what do you know no more squeaking. Yay happy party! Hopefully this will work for others. You will need a new banjo bolt I had one here so I'm not sure of the thread but I think it's 10mm x 1.25

Huh, don't see how that would cause squeaking.. I had the circular can shaped ABS thing which didn't require a new bolt when taking off so there was no reason not to anyway.

Hey I don't know but they always were noisy and now they are not. Prior with light pressure the pad would not touch the rotor flush and now it will. Maybe my abs unit just had issues. They are meant to restrict flow for abs function. Maybe mine was just extra restricted. I don't know may work for others.
