i am waiting for motion pro to make up a dellotro throttle cable for my triton r4. while waiting i am looking at setting up one of those $12 bicycle speedos on the r4.. i expect this has been done before and i have seen some mounted in motorcycles with the magnet jbwelded to the wheel rim or brake rotor. anyone have experience with mounting the magnet on the r4?

cool. i cut a section from an old handle bar and slit it in 1/2 length wise. i planned on using tie wraps to mount the section and readout to the plastic top cover on the handle bar.. i have a small round magnet and a pickup that gets tie wrapped to the fork leg. i will see if i can jbweld the magnet inside the rim where it might live a more sheltered existence..

Didn't know some weren't fully adjustable for wheel size. I have 3. One 906 and two 1200s. The earlier model is actually better. Easier to set up and reset and such. Otherwise, they're pretty much identical.

Ah. I have tried a Schwinn years ago. It went backwards after about 50MPH.
