Sounds like he's lucky someone's not a great shot. The leg, maybe someone was looking for non lethal. The arm though.... Not saying he didn't deserve what he got though.

Tendam was dismissed from the Lafayette Fire Department in February 2009 for conduct unbecoming to a firefighter.
The dismissal followed a fire at Tendam's house near Battle Ground, during which police said Tendam tried to stop firefighters from putting out the flames. Tendam was charged with two counts of arson."

You don't pull a weapon on a cop unless you plan to die. At least he didn't really hurt anyone else trying.

Yeah, i think he was trying to commit suicide by cop and the cops just are shitty shots.
lol, you should see the bullet holes all around the area. And they werent from Tendam,s BB gun thats for sure. Glad i wasnt on that side of town that day.
He never got charged for arson because in Indiana its not illegal to burn your own property. Dude was just on a downward spiral and ended up with no DL so he was riding his mower. The gun thing all never understand? Thats what makes me think he was on a "suicide by cop" mission. I dont know this guy or anything. I do know its WAY to easy to loose your DL in Indiana tho!
