Hello
Last summer, i install a 72cc kit on my Kymco 4 stroke. I have the original air box and original exhaust.
The motor run good, but it,s very hard to adjust the carburetor. When the motor is cold, it's start #1, but when it come warm, he didn't keep the idle speed....
I adjust the mix screw when the motor is hot, but after a ride idle going down, down, down and die...
Hep me! :ambulance:
If i didn't find the stupid adjustement, i'm going to put back the 49cc kit!
Thank's!
The main jet is #90, pilot jet #38

Turn the idle speed screw to the right when it's hot. Have you done a valve adjustment? Here's a guide for that:

38 idle is too big. I know, it's the stock Kymco for the 50 but I think even 35 is too big for the 72. For giggles try a 30 idle, and 88 main.

Today i install pilot jet #35 and main jet #85. It's better, i adjust the valve at (.002 intake) (.003 exhaust). The acceleration look stronger and i didn't feel the lack in acceleration.
