So, my daughter had a bit of an accident yesterday on the scooter. She was showing off a bit to her brother who was having his first ever ride on the Spree, and she tried taking a corner too fast and dumped her bike. She ended up breaking the back tail light lens. Fortunately that was all she broke and she didn't hurt herself too much, just a couple of scrapes to her hands and knees and her arm kinda hurt a bit, but she's fine now. Well anyways, I ordered the new lens.. thankfully it was only $20. What I am wondering though, is do I need to just take off that little trim piece in the back to put the new one in, or do I have to tear apart the side panels just to get to it? I watched 90GTVert's video of PDI Assembly Part 3 which covered the plastics and it appeared that the trim piece in back is all I need to disassemble. Just want to confirm this before the new part arrives.

Sumo is correct. It is a pain to get to the tail light just to replace a bulb. You need to look at Brent's video and remove lots of plastic.

I'll post the link when I get home, at work at the moment. And for the record, I did NOT have to remove all the plastic to get to it. Just 2 screws in the back, took me a whole 3 minutes to fix.
