When trying to start scoot soon I hit the starter button all lights shut off no starter I must turn key to get lights back on. Also rear break has some type of short it works but at certain points when pressed.
It still will start I'm just worried it won't at some point due to this issue. Going to dig in, in the morning. Anyone got a hint to what to look @?

The rear brake may just be a switch. Since you know there's an issue there, take care of it. Sometimes you'll fix a bigger issue by taking care of a smaller one.

Today it ran OK after a run around town but after awhile I felt something odd on the bike one it wanted to die so I kept idle up a bit. When doing that it wasn't enough for it to move but it wanted to. Felt like it would go 5-10 if I wasn't sitting on it also felt like I could fell the crank moving in its circle. It kinda struggled @ start offs I think it could be variator what do you think ?

You mean the crank felt out of balance? An engine vibration? The variator could cause vibrations. If it was "stuck in gear" it could make the engine want to die or make it want to move. Could be a variator or clutch issue there.

Could be a variator or clutch issue there. Everything seems normal with the variator so I move on to clutch. What would I have to look for in the clutch that would make it move @ idle

A broken/popped out spring will do that or also a broken clutch arm can cause it also. Should be pretty obvious during inspection if it's either one of those...

OK cool going to look @ clutch removal and assembly videos now. I was always worried about compressing the spring back down I think that I cannot or won't be able to get it back on.

Thanks following this vid and the handy hint for removing and installing those three little clutch springs got me threw the weather. And I do have an electric impact wrench it worked wonders for this job.

It feels like its not getting top speed and it doesn't rev high enough when already moving
It revs to high when starting

Sounds as though your plastic guides on the variator are sticky/hanging up.

Sounds as though your plastic guides on the variator are sticky/hanging up. I can't put lube in there. What should I do? Get new guide or new variator

You could try just sanding them, but your best bet is to replace them. First take the variator off and check to see. If it all slides smoothly then move on to belt and clutch checks. Here is a link to a full CVT service inspection. youtu.be/2EjW-iSP-Q8

So I have replaced and grease up the clutch spring a shoe springs as well . My problem was one of my shoe springs were missing, that's why it engaged to early. So changed all those springs to the red springs that came with my bbk over a year ago. And since I had all that off I changed belt to being that I put the stock belt back in there when a after market belt broke after just a few miles of riding a few months back. So I get everything done and back on and go for test ride. @ take off it stutters a bit not engine I guess could be belt slip IDK but it would do that then continue as normal. After just a few test rides not many miles @ all the belt breaks. Oh god the frustration but yea would this be bad luck of the belt or something I did I follow directions very well. Now I must put stock belt back in just to move around.
Please some post a link to eBay or Amazon for a belt. From a reputable seller.
Also when I inspected the new belt on there it didn't seem to completely ride to top of clutch so I would need a slightly longer belt to get it to rise up more. What size should I get to achieve this goal?
I look for some type of belt graph couldn't find anything showing belt sizes in chart or graph format
