Well we have a vacay planned to New Orleans in May and i'm going to ride down and my wife will fly. I love my KZ but i don't trust it for a 750 mile trip when people will be waiting on me to arrive on time. So... Today i picked up a '97 Honda Shadow 1100 with 20xxx miles. Got it home and my wife used her "Hipstamatic" to shoot it. BTW Vance & Hines pipes sound like the Wrath of God! For those keeping score thats 2 scoots and 3 MC in my garage. This is getting ridiculous.

Nice addition! ;D It's about time to get a sportbike in the garage next. Seriously Tim, all these bikes and scoots and you couldn't have kept the Triton too? lol

Congratulations. Looks like a well kept bike. Dude I know had one and let me ride it. He probably thought I took too long of a ride (probably 6 - 7 miles) and he got upset when he heard me redline it in low gear . I figure what's the point in riding or driving something if you're just going to putter up the block and back? I figure if that's your two states hopper bike then you'll need something like this to go farther. And when you need to fetch soda and chips real fast.... this.

And when you need to fetch soda and chips real fast.... this. No, no, no. This is for fetching stuff fast. Gotta wear a backpack 'cause there's no storage room... but if I had $14,000 just lying around I'd fetch stuff on this.

I posted a picture of an older V-Max since WT100 always buys older bikes. The new V-Max is much more menacing looking and small children are probably afraid to get close to it. So I think you add a little more 'fear factor' to get people outta your way with the V-Max. Did I mention it has 200 hp? Regardless of whether you're on the rocket sled or the crotch rocket you still need the backpack. Your legs might not cramp so easy on the sled though.

I actually don't like the new one. It look like they tried too hard to make it look mean so it just looks kinda silly to me. Fat exhaust here, intake scoops there... but nothing flows. Liek parts have been bolted on just cause they had 'em around. I've loved the R1 since the first Raven edition I saw in person years ago. Never seen any stock bike look meaner than that for my tastes. The old R1s look cool too Tim. ;D Wonder how many bikes we'll have to post before Tim goes out and gets another?

Our dealer had a V-Max in the entry way for most of last year. Looks good in the pic but in person WOW!!! It almost doesn't look real.
At this point i never say never but can't imagine sinking that much money in ONE ride. Rather have 5 different ones. Oh wait i guess that is obvious... ;D

Simultaneous post. HaHa.
As far as getting another ride. I try to at least roll with one for 3 months before adding the next.
Remember i'm making up for 30 years off of bikes so no time to dilly dally. ;D
But god help me i have been sneaking glances at the new Victory High Ball but would have to switch out the bars to flat ones. I'll probably end up with flat bars on my shadow.

I no longer feel guilty for owning two scooters and thinking about buying another in the future.
