I needed a pic of the F-150 for a quick clip in a video. Parked it by the woods and took the pic. Went to drive off and the tire slipped on the grass. It's in a low lying area where there's a lot of moisture. Managed to get it to move backwards... into a spot that's worse. Tried to assist it out with the mower, but it just doesn't have the power/traction. It got dark so now it's sitting there till tomorrow. I'm gonna try stuff like a towel or ratchet strap or maybe even wood strapped to the tire and see if that does anything. It's not buried, just super slick so I think a little traction would go a long way. As long as I don't have to call a tow truck over a pic for a vid that I may make $10 on. I used to park cars (like my Mustang and Firebird) out there regularly to wax them in the shade. Big ass truck can't even drive on the grass.

Those 'all-season' tires are fairly worthless except in rain.

At bloody long last sorted out our sons wedding plans with the hotel. His partner still having problems getting her passport sorted from the Portuguese Consulate. Apparently there is a backlog in Lisbon even in her own country for those still living in Portugal.

Got to love garden work.... Worked on two mowers today with help from the neighbor, carbs were blocked from disuse last year, just needed fresh gas, lots of pulls, and a little time to dissolve the varnish. They mowed the grass next door and my own grass. They need blades sharpened. Fixed my East gate, still more work to do on the fence and another gate.

I don't mind mowing that's ok, it's the digging that does me in. We are having a new wall sorted by the council at some point which is good. I loose my garage soon as the neighbour is moving so got to plan where the scooter is going to live and hopefully persuade Yolanda to let me keep it in the front garden and remove a bit of the border by the path to level up and keep it out the way.

milly you need more shed/garage space. You have seen my house, the entire house and carport, except 1 bedroom, bath, & kitchen, is shop space since I have no women about.

For the past week I have been hiring stagehand labor for a concert coming to town. Seems like a former Beatle is coming to town and needs about 200 people to carry his luggage. Any one interested in setting up towers, covering a football field and setting up production the week of the 16th?
