It's stock. I have the exact same bike and is high on the list of my many project's. Mine is running atm but if I don't start it for a week or so it takes a while to get it running. I am planning a naked build but who knows. I'm not trying to steal your thread but I think we can compare notes. This is my first 2 stroke build also! No problem. That's cool we are both building our first 2t off the same model. I had to put it off for a bit cause my main Scoot went down and I had to buy a tire... But I found out that a rear wheel from this hurricane will not fit a 4t Scoot. This one has 18 splines and my 4t VIP has 19... Cool! Yea I have been putting this build off for a while myself because of issues with my 4t. My issue with mine at the moment is when you rev it up, it almost seems like the carb isn't providing enough fuel o4 the mixing pump isn't right.

I think I read somewhere on the forum when your dewinterizing 2ts to mix the oil in the gas to get it going. I think that will be the next thing I do

OK I need an idea on a good exhaust. I don't have a lot of money to spend. It doesn't have to be top of the line just better than my factory one

Did you ever end up starting your 09' Keeway build? Sorry, I know this thread is a tad old.

I ended up giving mine to my buddys 16 year old son. He fixed the original issue with a little duct tape over the air cleaner. It ran fine all winter now we don't have any spark. This is the only 2T I know of for miles so spare parts are rare. So it's been parked in my shed for the last few weeks. I hope I can find a cheap fix so he can get back on the road.
