i have a really big hernia that i have had for about 8 months that im getting repaired on Wednesday. I've never been under the knife and i know its not a major surgery but im a little nervous... hope it goes well.. gonna be have to be off the scoot for a lil bit  |

Don't sweat it, you will be asleep the whole time. You wont see, hear, or feel a thing. When you wake up, well hopefully they have ya hooked up to some good pain meds. Iv been there several times, its always scary. Just remember the people that "work" on ya do this stuff every day.
You could see if your insurance company will spring for a 4 wheel mobility scooter rental. Hey, Its still a scooter. LOL

Had a couple of operations for injuries, not had a hernia before though. You will be fine, nothing to worry about. They do these operations all the time.
Just take it easy afterwards and you will be fine. My mate made his worse by trying to rush back to work afterwards.

well im still alive... im in recovery .. have been clean for a little over 4 years so i did this without any narcotic pain meds.. only ibuprophen... hurts like a sob but im still alive

finally had my first ride today... even tho it was only about 2 miles it still felt great to be out on the open road...bumps still kinda hurt but overall it was a good ride

Damn, riding after a hernia operation??? Did the doc clear you for that? A pothole could rip you open again.
