Ahhh, jalopnik gizmodo & lifehacker, some of my favorite sites I like visiting, beside the obvious.

The guy has no guts or balls! That car would turn me on something fierce! I've driven fast cars and I love them.
I had a '69 Dodge Super Bee with a built 780hp 440ci V8. The Viper would be less crazy than that Super Bee!

My mate showed me a website a few years ago and the Viper was the most crashed car by a long way. Still a great car.

That viper would be less crazy than the BMW M6 I almost leased lol 5L V10 was a blast they top out at 211mph. And that car was only 14K with a seven speed paddle shift.

The main things I remember hearing about the old Vipers were that they could be a handful compared to similar cars. They lacked ABS in early models and they had a big engine making something near 500ft-lb @ ~4000RPM and had loose handling. Not terrifying, but still capable of low 12 second quarters from the showroom.

My mate showed me a website a few years ago and the Viper was the most crashed car by a long way. Still a great car. I can believe that. Basically a showroom race car, with poor handling and WAY too much engine. Add to that some dude with a lot more money than sense, that has zero experience driving a car like that and that spells disaster. Even if wrecking doesn't kill you, the damn repair bill would......

For someone that like the off beat stuff, that would be a good resto project, IF it's complete. Parts for that one might be hard to find. Would be very good looking if fully restored.

More money than brains and experience. -The reason most supercars don't make it far from the showroom.

More money than brains and experience. -The reason most supercars don't make it far from the showroom. The same goes for Crotch rockets! Those bikes are made for the track, not the street. Too many idiots that have zero experience with fast machines buy them and end up killing themselves. You have to work up to that kind on bike (or car) in order to control them. Takes time & practice.
