Look top right on "your" post and click delete.

The option should disappear 45 minutes after you make a post. This is done because some people will delete threads that may be helpful to others once they get an answer. I figured 45 minutes is plenty of time to re-read and catch errors or delete a double post.

Some places do not have an option to delete a post. They only allow 10 minutes to edit your own posts also.
