Going to a hardtail configuration is going to be interesting to say the least handling wise. I like the wire elimination, my pile was even bigger and I'm not done yet, every electrical problem I've had with mine is directly related to the connectors, so I'm hard wiring everything.

Pretty much done. Just really needs a gas cap, we aren't sure what the gas tank came off of so it's been a hunt.   |

Don't forget the cooling fan shrouds before it's considered totally done, or the engine may be done sooner than you'd like. I've spent some time with a 150 and CHT and oil temp gauges. They can run hot even with the fan pushing air across the cylinder and head.

What would you guys call this? I happen to really want to build one, but theres very few other resources for it and fewer threads related to this. I see its simple but want to know what other people are doing like this.

This is the current project, now I'm just waiting on the engine to come to weld a new tank mount... What all did you pull off as far as electronics?
