I know it isn't the best but I would like to build it. I have a 2010 VIP Future Champion built by Chonqing Astronautic Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing. I want to go with the naked look. I have a welder and a tool box and I am not afraid to use everything in my arsenal. I have never been a stock person. I don't like having the same thing as everyone else. I pick it up for cheap because the guy couldn't get the key to turn. Here is how she sits right now. I took the plastics off due to it had became a snake/wasp/lizard refuge and the wife said it had to go. So with a little talking we agreed that if I could get it to not attract snakes and get it running I could keep it. She is deathly afraid of snakes. The reason I parked it over a year or so ago is because the electric choke mount somehow got messed up before I got it. At first it wasn't a big issue I just let it warm up and it was good to go. As winter came in it got hard to start so I just abandoned it in the back yard. Yea shame on me. This was the issue. I am mechanical but I really do not know much about these. I am looking to strip it down as far as I can. I don't Plan on driving it more than a 10 mile radius so creature comforts are not really needed. Things I would like to keep: Head/tail light Turn signals Electric start but kick is fine with me(I think I read somewhere that the kick starts have issues?) I would like to know what I can delete before chopping in to it and having to undo my handy work. Working twice as hard isn't something I like to do. This is kind of the style I want.

I know it isn't the best but I would like to build it. Cheap builds can be just as much fun as high dollar builds IMO. The reason I parked it over a year or so ago is because the electric choke mount somehow got messed up before I got it. You can replace the whole carb for $20-$30. I would like to know what I can delete before chopping in to it The kickstart will almost certainly fail sooner or later with regular use. They aren't very robust. Much better to stick with the e-start. You'll need the rectifier/regulator and battery in there so you can keep all of that stuff working. The ignition is fairly simple, so you should just have the stator, CDI, and coil. Whatever you're left with could be cut out, though keeping a horn isn't a terrible idea.

Thanks! I have a lot to learn. I understood a bit most of it is foreign to me.
