Any one hardtailing these? I know that it will be a harsher ride. I have a single shock and I don't know if that will be an issue if I decide to go that route. Pics? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot on this. I plan on lowering and stretching mine.

With the roads around here, I am glad my shocks are in working order. I would need to see a chiropractor every time I rode and had a hardtail setup.

Don't forget all that stress the shock "absorbed" gets transmitted through the China steel frame, welds and engine case. Partsforscooter sells a rigid strut if you don't want to make one and are still considering going rigid.

Roads are pretty smooth here. We don't get a lot of cold/freezing weather to bust them up. The quality of the frame isn't something I had taken into consideration.

With my 200lbs and the 9" shock on my pink scoot I hard tail all of the time. That's my next thing to buy for it.
