Masking tape is your friend.
Bill
PS Floyd, where did you get that yellow paint? What do they call it? I have been looking for a yellow like that for a long time and where I live, they only carry "safety yellow" which is not what I am looking for. I have to use cans as I have no compressor or paint gun any more.

I have an ammonia window cleaner that foams up I use for prep and clean up. It will remove overspray. See if you can find something similar. It's by sosmetal called glass clear. Whats it called? (for future reference) Thanks.

you can try a small plastic putty knife like 1-2 inches wide, and a hair dryer to get the paint off those lenses, i would be afraid to tell you to use a heat gun based upon your paint job. even with a hair dryer be careful not to get too much heat on those lenses, and when you do try to get the paint off, take the lenses off of the scooter because you will definataly ruin the painting that you have done with a hair dryer and a putty knife if you try to do it while they are still on the bike. im jealous because i have been wanting to paint my scooter, and cant decide on how i would like it to look especially the colors i would like to use. good luck

If it was here at my house, I'd have it off in a couple seconds using some 1500 grit with a nib sander, then 3000 it, then apply some K211 finesse compound with a buffer to bring back that shine. Absolutely DO NOT recommend you try that though. I'm a trained pro.

he didnt know to mask anything off, finesse may not be his thing, if theres a problem a bigger hammer usually works for some people. i tryed to recommend something that he would get descent results with. your method. wayyy better. i wish i had his enthusiasm though.
