Well i went with the streetrace for the cast iron and 2 piston rings, and 10hp is enough for daily. Sportpro is a lot faster about 15hp but its single piston ring and alu. single piston ring does wear down a lot faster... but thats also why i went with the doppler endurance race crankshaft and c4 so i can always switch to a faster/high rpm. cilinder. but i wont get the sportpro then i will go with the stage 6 racing mk2 can do 20hp. When it's ready make sure you do a (GPS) top speed run. Try making it in the 70mph club! 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/11206/scoot-speed-listim in the 70+ mph club! and yes i want to go S6 racing with a good crank some day.

removed the engine from the aerox today and disassembled the engine. have no idea how the cilinder was still running.. the needle bearing was compleet destroyed, the piston had huge scratches and some dents in it?.cilinder it self was also the same story scratches everywhere. igntion isn't in great shape but i will place it anyway maybe i will buy a race igntion like the malossi eprom. garage is one big mess now, tomorrow morning going to clean the igntion cover/waterpomp and prep it for paint, will start installing the bearings and crankshaft..its gonna happen this weekend

Is that a 10mm piston pin? They seem to be short lived..If you are going to repair it,check the small end of the rod for notches(grooves) from the bearings,if so scrap that crank!!

I don't like the 10mm cranks minarelli uses. I had the same problem you had, exploding wristpin bearing. Wreckd the head and piston. I ditched the 10mm crank and bought a 12mm.

i already have a Doppler undurance race crank(P10mm) first time builing a minarelli so i dont know. the speedfight also has a doppler but its a p12mm..maybe i will upgrade to a malossi wristpin bearing, i have read that doppler bearings aren't the best.

Nice set-up! Ide love to check out one of those scoots someday.
Say, you wouldnt happen to know of anyone that might be interested in one of those S6 subframes would you? I have a new one in the box i dont need.. Also have a Kiesler subframe fro the Minarelli
