Looking to see if anyone else rides in South Florida.....East Coast area.
West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Coral Springs, Hallandale Beach, Weston, Parkland, Lauderdale Lakes, Davie, Coconut Creek, Lighthouse Point, Aventura, Hollywood etc

I live in the Thumb Area, almost the center of the Thumb. Summers are short here, we get about 4 months of really good weather, 5 months of Winter and 3 months of crap. Most of the time I dress really warm in order to ride. I've rode in -5 degrees (lots of winter clothes on). As long as there is no snow or ice, I will ride.
What can I say, I'm addicted to scoots!
The best Winters I've had were in Florida!

That's a serious formerly 49cc scoot.  Can probably put most 50cc 2T's to shame. (except the fully built race ones) My 150 can't do much better. |

I'm here in Miami! Riding a black 2001 Vino (YJ50RN) with an MHR exhaust and big 18" windshield on the front. I ride on the 836 expressway very often  |

Cool. Would like to see if we can get a group of 10 or so together and just do a fun run day on A1A. Maybe stop along the way and grab a bite near the ocean or Intracoastal. Chat, share ride stories, check out scoots. If we can get 20 or more together, there'll be a few cool scooter prize giveaways.. No hurry, while others are prepping for the winter witch, we're just getting ready for the sunny 70's "winter"  |

Hey chico357, I used to live a few miles from Pompano Beach. I lived in Lauderhill off Oakland Blvd across from the big golf course there. My friend lived in Pompano Beach just off A1-A, he was a scuba diver so I would drive the boat and he and his students would dive.

Pompano is supposedly a good scuba diving spot from all the shop wrecks they have. I haven't been yet but it's on my bucket list |

Hey HS, and other S Florida, getting two bikes together ( Zuma 2 t , and carbed Aprillia)to do some A1A rides , delrey, key lime house, ect.. We're in Pompano beach....might meet with other modded bikes only.... No squids..lol   |
