I would have thought that Scooters are your obsession and that cars are a pastime.

I flip flop between the two. Since the summer has been so hot and I keep my car in storage like 30 mins away, Ive not really done any tuning or mods in a while. I keep my scoots in our living room of our apartment, so its alot easier to tinker with them. As soon as fall comes around I have some mods planned on the Fiat.... then away for winter they all go, and back to my mk2 GTi.

I prefer the air cooled (probably explains some of the affinity for scoots) but I have had my share of water pumpers and oil burners too.

Nice looking x19. They are a rare car here, so must be a very rare beast in the U.S.

Their out there. Not too many, but youd be surprised. They are a far more rare sight to see then modern Ferrari or Lamborghini I think the USA has the largest amount of X1/9 still redgistered. IIRCC UK has like 100 and Australia has only like 10 or less, but I could be off.

Just searched the government website and there are 239 X1/9's and 62 X1/9 VS model's still registered as being on the road

UK I presume as the VS was an Euro model released in '84? Yes UK. There must be a lot more in garages and fields waiting to be rescued.

Yes. TheUK had alot of X1/9s. Not many still redgistered though. Same for here. The US has more still redgistered on the road. Im not sure the exact number. I find it amusing and kinda cool that a car that the factory claims to have build 165,000 world wide; is today more exotic and rare to see then "Exotic cars" like Lamborghini and Ferrari.
