I'm waiting to hear back about the wires and how they should be connected to see what I did. Maybe I can buy a new cdi and it'll work? Not sure. Im certain you can't be the only poor guy that's done this.

nelson The summer time LC heat wearing shorts isn't really noticeable. There is enough air moving to cool your legs. Winter, forgot my gloves once and the radiators were a nice heater.

How did you roast your ignition? Did you wire something incorrectly? Or just pulling too many amps and cooked the iggy? Ouch! On the other hand that kart set up looks top notch, seen that some place before There is two wires coming from the cdi that are not explained in the instructions. They're red and black so you can assume what I did with them. Dammit man, thats what I would have done with a red and black wire. Did you fuse it? may have helped, may have not.

That's the thing I don't get, I did fuse it (10 amp) and it didn't blow and nothing got hot. Hell, it might still work and I just keep doing it wrong? I don't know what to think. I've wanted this pump setup anyway so it's a good excuse to get it?

Aaargh! Hopefully you get lucky and it springs back to life. Love love love that w/p setup. I read that whole high-end daily driver thread with the stock looking Zuma guy that runs these water pump setups- I really liked his buddy's Burgman Zuma!

They do some really cools stuff to their scoots up there in Canada. With a long, boring winter they have plenty of time to sit and think about building cool crap.

Yesterday I ordered shorty levers and a pressure switch for the rear brake and got them this afternoon. Not sure if I'm going to use the pressure switch since it's so damn ugly when installed.
