Are you just running the HiT clutch and bell? Maybe it's just a broken spring and it locked in. Hurry up and fix it. Already fixed and I'm running the Polini 2G clutch right now. You'd probably never guess what happened. I've never seen it happen. Anyway, the large nut that holds the clutch to the TD spun itself off and so the torque spring was pushing the clutch up against the outside of the bell. As soon as I took the small nut off to remove it all, the clutch and bell shot off. Sooo weird! Got super lucky that it didn't F off those fine threads on the TD. The Dr Pulley bell is a bit burnt up so I'll have to get a new one pretty soon

Relieved to see that it didn't cause any real damage. How is it possible for that nut to come loose? How do you usually tight that nut?

Gonna go take er for a night run to see how she does. I'll see how the Strip is looking. Maybe I can travel the whole thing?

I don't see any marking on your variator. You don't check how far the belt travels?
And does AAA work also at late hours?

I took it for another run tonight and she ran great. Made it down to the Strip and even a bit further than the last time, but caught up to a bunch of traffic that I had no intentions of sitting in. Anyway, had some kid in a SUV ask me if it was a turbo

Good to see that she's back, like there was never anything wrong with her.
