Still got a bit more to do to it, but it fits. Cut way too much out  Too wide so I slotted it and folded it over with a heat gun   Forgot to take pictures of how I built it back up with modeling clay and shaped it. Here it is with fiberglass over the clay.    Removed from the belly pan  Trimmed the excess and the center section  A lot of Dremel work and even more sanding  I still need to put some body filler in a few places and viewed from the bottom it's not perfectly symmetrical, but no one will ever be able to tell when it's on its wheels. |

BTW, never worked with fiberglass before, didn't put enough hardener in it so it took days to fully cure. Oh, and sanding it suck ass. I have more glass in my hands (wore rubber gloves) than when I did the handlebar stem. I itch everywhere!

When I was 19 I ground down the whole back end of a fiberglass boat that was in a tornado with an angle grinder wearing only shorts, tank top, and safety glasses! Oh to be young and dumb again. It's in my top 10 dumbest things I've ever done haha. Sooo miserable. Ima need to get a t-shirt with a pic of your scoot on the front of it when you're all done. ;P |

For plastic to fiberglass lexel is great stuff. That and west system g flex.
