Difference Super 8 - 9 AC 2T

Hey,

Trying to build an engine for a friend of mine, she has a Super8 AC 2T engine, yet I cannot find any 70cc kits for that engine. The Super9 however has stuff available. 

Whats the difference? Whats the fix?

Based on Malossi #M.319987 70cc kit, It works with Super 8 & 9 AC engines

Malossi #M.3111667 70cc kit works only with Super 9 LC engine

Theyre the same for all kymco 50cc 2t. The Malossi kit on my Super 9 AC was originally listed as for Cobra and Agility scoots. I cant stress enough to search how to dress the kit prior to installation. Also I cant stress enough to get the Multivar variator for the bike as well.

Not all Kymco 2T engines are the same, There are 2 variations, a vertical and horizontal engine and the cylinders are not interchangeable between the two.

Beside the obvious differences in engine cases(hor/vert cylinder orientation)
Intake is inline with crankshaft(con rod)/(center of engine) on a horizontal engine, intake is off to the side(next to cvt cover)
The crankshafts are different. Oil pumps are in different location. 
 

This topic was about 70cc kits/upgrade options. Variators on the other hand are interchangeable between both engine variations(hor/vert)

A variator and rear pulley from a 139QMB 4T will fit my 2T ZX50's(I know, blasphemy)

 Everything looked good up to this statement.  

"The 2-stroke version uses Kymco’s version of Honda’s AF18/AF16 motor that dates back to the mid 90’s. This motor is a basic design (air cooled, 2-valves, carbureted) but it’s reliable and has a lot of performance potential (these motors can easily be modified to 60mph and beyond). The older Kymco 2t engines were copies(95%) of the Honda AF18/AF16 engine. The Super 8 & 9's have the next generation engine which are different.

Easiest visual difference, the exhaust on older Kymco 2t's(vertical) are facing the front of the scooter(like your Honda), the horizontal(next generating of Kymco 2t) the exhaust faces the ground(like "most" jog & minarelli)

What's the difference between KF10AA & KF10CA Just Curious As I Found That The Malossi 70cc Big Bore Doesn't Seal All That Great On My Bike As I Bought It Used With It Already On Here Hopefully Its The Right Kit As It Was About Blown Up When I Bought It

I Paid 275 bucks for it and bought a polini cp 19 for it as the guy I bought it from said it had a new Malossi Big Bore Kit Which After It Blew Up Literally Had Plenty Of Oil Fuel In It When It Caught A Piston Ring And Destroyed The Piston For Most Part Cylinder Was Fixed Luckily And Head Is Also Great Condition.
A Buddy Told Me You Have To Clean Up The Edges Before Installing These Kits Which We Should Of Pulled It Apart First But My Wanting To Ride It So Bad Didn't Get 15 miles Before It Just Stopped On Me Which Sucked. Lol
