:welcome: back!
All I can really tell you is that I have ridden a Tomos Targa and it was pretty fun. 35MPH stock. The one I rode later got a pipe and carb tuning. I believe it made it into the mid 40s then. I know there are others here that can help you a lot more than that.

they are nice peds i havent worked on many of them but you can make them go maybe 40ish the down side is some times performance parts might be hard to find i know the old a3 and a35s had issues with the auto lube so if you get one with autolube consider ditching it

I have been looking for a Tomos myself. I want the Streetmate specifically but will settle fore any model. I think they went to a 4T with the Nitro scoot in 2010 not exactly sure. Seems Tomos is making a come back again.

Hi, I have a 2009 Tomos Nitro 50. I love it. 139QMB motor. I am 280 and 6'2" and stock it would do about 32mph GPS. I upgraded the cdi and variator and got another 4mph GPS. Handles great, rides nice. I just installed an NCY 72cc kit and had to modify the block as the cylinder sleeve was too large for the rod opening. Used a die grinder to enlarge the opening 3mm and the sleeve fit no problem This thing flies now. 45mph GPS but the main thing is I don't drive around wide open and when I drive into the wind, I can hold a constant 36mph where before it was around 27mph. Overall, VERY happy.
