Hi all , I have bought a 2013 PGO PMX 50 naked online without viewing it. I paid $280 plus $117 in auction fee's. It was advertised as a repairable wreck. When I picked it up it looked pretty crappy and the black thing on the fairing was screwed on . I unscrewed it and found it had a rather large size hole in it . 160mmx140mm. My question is that the fairing is injected moulded will polyester resin stick to it if prep right? The other thing is the rear rim is not the original 12" but a 10" of something else . Could anyone point me in the right direction to where I can buy a new one or if not what other scooter rims will fit ? I have search the net and have had no luck but someone mentioned a Kymco rim fits . ? Can anyone confirm this??

I wonder if parts from the Genuine Roughhouse R50 will fit? They look like the same scoot.

I wonder if parts from the Genuine Roughhouse R50 will fit? They look like the same scoot. The fairing might and probably look better with the bug eyes The rim's are only 10" back and front. Tires: 120/90-10 (Front), 130/90-10 (Rear) where as the EU model PMX came out with 12" rims. The rattler 110 looks exactly like the PMX but came out with a 12" front and a 10" rear. The fairing on the rattler looks the same . Down size is they do not make that scooter any more because of emissions , What a scam that is . modern 4 st are designed to burn oil . To make them go they had to sacrifice reliability for power and the only way they could do it is to burn oil . Hence is why after every ride they say to check your oil. Good old thumpers never had that issue and you got hundreds of hrs use not 40hrs then rebuild or risk blowing the thing

I ended up using polyester resin to patch the fairing . I drilled 7mm holes roughly 10mm away from the damaged area times 2 rows so the resin could fill the holes and help hold the patch in place with the shrinkage of the fibreglass. It seems to be holding, Just need to bog primer and paint . Should look ok.. I also ended up buying a complete licensed 2006 scoot for parts.

WELCOME! I have a Rattler 110 that's up for sale but every day that goes by I get closer and closer to just keeping it.

Hi niz76 I think you should keep it. If you are already having doubts in selling it and ,you do, you may regret it later on.. How are the availability of parts for the Rattler where you are? Here in Australia locating parts are not easy.
