Won't stop reving

I'm sure it's a simple fix but I start my engine on my 49cc 139qmb and it revs and revs. Adjusting the idle doesn't help.

I just replaced my bbk with the stock cylinder, it ran slow but I just thought I was used to the kit.
I replaced the bendix yesterday and I thought something was misadjusted in the belt/clutch/variator department. I took off the cover again, loosened the belt by squeezing the clutch and tightened the variator nut again just in case I didn't have it tight. I replaced the cover, gave her a kick and it nearly flew off the center stand. I adjusted the idle screw to no avail. Is it my clutch?

Well der. I just noticed the spark plug cable was stuck under the carb pushing the throttle up. There's my unexplained reving.

Stupidity would of been changing the air in the tires to try to fix the problem. You made a simple mistake and figured it out.
