Finally replaced shattered glass on my Samsung Galaxy YAY!

My Samsung Galaxy slipped off my scooter seat about a year ago and hit the ground on the corner. Shattered.
But I kept using it all this time because it still worked and I didn't wanna buy another phone yet.
So last week I ordered a replacement glass off ebay and thought I'd give it a try.
The kit containing some tools (which I really didnt use) and the new glass was about $4.00 (yep, less than 5 bucks)
The glass was SUPERB! It even said "Samsung" on it just like the original.
I had never done this before and I read about how easily the digitizer could shatter and how easy it is to ruin the screen if too much heat was applied so I had my doubts. I figured if I botched it, it would just force me to go ahead and get a new phone.
Well, I'm proud to say I was able to successfully replace the glass and it works! Woot!
The darn thing looks brand new and no more cracks. I'm thrilled.
Have you replaced your cellphone glass?
