I'm parting out the parts scooter I got. I put it on CL. Should I also put it on ebay or is the hassle of shipping not worth it. I've been ebaying since '98 and it doesn't seem to bring the traffic it used to. But on the other hand, if a guy in Altoona needs a part there is a better chance he will see my stuff on ebay than somehow getting to the St. Louis Craigslist.
What do you guys do when you are parting out?

Its sorta a catch 22. If you are selling on both ebay and cl and you sell something locally and there are people bidding or did a buy it now option for the same item you no longer have, you might piss off some ebay members. I would just stick with one or the other, or ebay first and if it doesen't sell cl afterwards.
My pet peeve with cl is someone advertises and sells the item and leaves the ad running and when you call or email, they said it was sold weeks ago and to stop bothering them. Like they are too lazy to take 30 secs to take an ad down.
