Was the fs1-e ever available in the us? It's such a cool looking bike, you would think someone would clone it.

I think the "e" stood for Europe. I wonder if it was the FS-1 C up where you are.

The fizzy I remember was a tablet dropped into a glass of water like a flavored alka-seltzer.

They were defiantly the 50 of choice in the 70's. Those popsicle colours still look cool today. You should try peddling one of the early one's that had peddles. There was no way you were cycling anywhere!
