While searching CL I found this 2006 Zuma. My understanding is they didn't import them in 2006 or 2007. Can anyone identify the year of this one.

I may go look at it tomorrow. The price sounds good and it looks to be in good shape.

I went ahead and bought it. It was in pretty rough shape so I offered hip $100, he almost cried so I offered $150 and he was okay with that. It is a 2005 with 20,000 Mi/KM on it. Its missing several pieces of plastic. The front end is good and the back end has a number of zip ties. He was told by the PO it had a BBK on it. That the oil pump doesn't work. It has a new front knobby tire and a worn back street tire. For some reason he couldn't explain he took the starter off of it. I'll know more when I get into it. Here are some pictures:
It looks like it will be a fun project and will be a nice addition to the family.

Nice fixer-upper. With just an Athena basic and maybe a Yasuni R you'll be dustin those pesky 150's

I had an hour or so to look at the Zuma. I got the kickstand on and I don't think its for that scooter, there was no where to hook the spring. It was also bent up and hit the CVT when up. I managed to get scoot on it. Checked compression 90psi added oil and 150psi. Rings are shot. I replaced the spark plug cap and got it to start and it sounded like a box of bolts in the crankcase. Turned it off and did some more snooping. I was told it had a BBK on it, hahaha they never do, its the stock cylinder and head. Discovered the noise when running, the crank is gone. I got the same flywheel movement I had with the TGB.
So I need a new crank, top end, exhaust is in bad shape, I'm sure the CVT needs work. I need to decide what kind of project this will be.

If you decide to flip it, let me know. I have a stock zuma top end somewhere that ran fine when I took it off.
