A little more paint, front fender and bags. Next i'm thinking of adding engine case guards painted red. Might give it a Ducati trellis frame look.

Earlier it was mentioned to add a 2-stroke to it. WOW, what a flash back that brings. Back in the 70's Kawasaki made to version of a street bike in 2-stroke. The H3 750 and the 500, both were inline 3 cylinder 2-stroke motors with Makuni carbs. They would fly. I got the chance to ride a friends H3 750 and in 2nd gear alone it would do 50mph and had plenty of throttle for more, a very scary ride to say the least. When the power band would kick in, you better have your butt cheeks squeezed together and your head down because you never knew what was going to happen other than you knew when you got home you needed to change ??.

Thanks guys!
marshinman - i remember that bike. A friend had the 500 for a short time. Would never let any of us ride it because HE was afraid of it and knew we would kill ourselves. All power and no control is way too tempting for a teenager!

My first experience on the 750 was less than desirable. I took off down a little residential road and head straight towards the intersection. Not realizing how fast I was going I went through the intersection and up a driveway and almost through a garage door. Thank god for brakes and previous years of riding in the dirt, I was able to get the rear tire to swing around and do a half donut in the driveway. It took me some time after that to want to ride it again and I was shaking when I got off it. Suzuki had the biggest and baddest of the 2 stroke street bikes. The water buffalo it was nick named, it was a 900cc 4 cylinder 2 stroke engine that because of the size of the gas tank got its name. Riding it was like trying to tame a bull, many have tried but none have succeeded. LOL

;D No kiddin right?! My Pop told me a story about one of those just like that one but in stock form. It was his friends and for some reason or another my pops bike was down or something :stumped: ? Anyway, he was running late for work and ended up on his friends bike. All of the sudden he wasnt so late anymore :burnout: :wheelie: :riding: . He said that bike was so wicked compared to what he was used to. He had a 900cc inline four cylinder four stroke that was bored and stroked. Anyone thats riden a litr bike knows they are strong as hell and scary fast, even the "slow" ones. He got on the 2T and felt it hit the power and was off. Said it felt like half the weight of his with the same or more power. lol, It probably was just about literally that  . With a whole new way of getting that power. He always wondered why his friend just putted around on it, come to find out he was plum scared of the thing so he just short shifted and cruised with the bike got all loaded up . Your bike is looking great Tim. Im super jealous of it

The Kawasaki H3 500 and 750 bikes were in no way designed for the inexperienced rider. I have rode some scary rides in the past to mention a few, Kawasaki KZ1000 bored 50 over with Kirker 4 to 1 exhaust and a air shifter, Honda Hurricane 900 and Honda CBR1000rr but the H3's they were jut wicked and could get away from you real fast. Looking at the bike that you just bought it has a great appeal to it almost artistic I can see why you wanted to go out in the garage and just look at it.

Glad your digging it guys. Unlike that old Kawasaki this bike is very forgiving. Plenty of power but it turns easily and if i get a corner a little bit wrong it doesn't try to KILL me. (like my last bike did.) My old KZ650 is becoming my ticket getter. After the quiet mellow Verxys, now when i get back on the KZ i get caught up in the 4 cylinder and open pipe scream. I've had two near tickets in the last month... It's funny to see the cop's face when i pull off the helmet and he sees an old guy! It takes some of the snarl out of them, but i do have to stop pushing my luck...
