I guess the rest is somewhere at customs which is a bummer.
I want to get your opinion on something:
The HPI ignition has a 10W coil. I was planning on rewiring it and maybe get more wattage. Front and tail lights are great to run nowadays on low wattage with LED's, but I need about 10-12W for a waterpump. Any ideas/experiences?

Oh no need to buy a wiring kit, my buddy is way too much into it, we will make our own harness basically. But I kind of either want to charge the battery or power the water pump directly EDIT: That said, I think a battery and a battery charging system that is monitored could be helpful too at least you always have a backup.

Keep in mind the magnetic field that hpi lighting coil is emitting. When you rewire it for higher output. It might disturb the pickup signal.
The only thing that 10w coil is good for is reducing battery drain time when running lights.
Btw. That pwk isnt oldskool man, you need the flatslide mikuni TM! I remember all the fast polini evo/mhr yasuni c20'd scoots running a tm24! The pwk's were more from the c21/c30 era.

I know I know with the Pwk, but at some point I had to take what is given to me hah.
Initially the plan was a TM but my source only had a PWK left, I happily obliged. After all the reed intake is rather modern with the big Polini I take. Clutch apparently is Stage 6 too so... call it a mix really

This is a generic Bosch automotive 12v pump. It was about $100Cad. I run it on my twin and it has no problems keeping it cool, it's light relatively small and I believe brushless. Here is the aliexpress version s.click.aliexpress.com/e/qGxsNvLaI run mine on 9v using a 12-9 buck converter, which you can get off aliexpress for a few dollars. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/LZ1ge5vq

Thanks all
It seems the HPI can power the water pump, I would love to stay mechanical.
But I will just hit a junkyard if that fails.

I know what I am doing this weekend! The transmission is 14/42, which is great, we can run smaller tires then, thinking 120/70-10 A bunch of small stuff came too, no clutch, variator cover or waterpump/cover, which is a shame, i think there is a nother box coming

Just measured the cylinder, assuming I can get it to 0mm piston overlap (poking out of the cylinder), I am looking at 195/126. I am not very happy with that. The inside also requires a lot of work. Thus I am sending it out to CO to have it reworked. (I simply don't have the tools to reach in there). The exhaust is also "only" 62% wide, I wouldnt mind having it somewhere between 70-75%. The cylinder foot/skirt needs a lot of work too. Meanwhile, i will work on the cases, the intake doesn't fit 100% yet. I also realized this will be some fun Russian roulette, with 10mm pin. Good old tuning...

Stuff's moving! The fork just got done, I got a full video on that coming up, but I can spoil with a before/after pic already. The best part is that this mod will make it so we can run the original headset.

I got the fork back today.
I slid it in to check, and it fits 120%. So in the next days I will start mocking everything up and build a radiator mount.
