Well I know squat about painting, but to me it looks like you used a chain saw to sand them panels.

Floyd, what do YOU think? When you spray paint on that it's gonna look bad. You need to do a LOT more sanding and smoothing if you want any kind of a glossy decent finish.
Your last sanding should be with at least 500 grit paper. Work you way down from 80 to 100 to 200 to 500
If you don't care, then you're good to go.

I think you should of taken the time and did it by hand vs a rotary tool remove the paint unless you were going for the gouged look.

Wow, if anybody did something like that at work, they would be walked out the door. Thanks for showing what NOT to do you silly silly man!!! Those parts are for the most part, completely destroyed!! Why you ask? Can't ya just sand them smooth?? No, you can't... here's why.. You have already reached the substrate. Once you have reached that point, you will never get a proper finish no matter how much you smooth it. I don't care if you wet sand it with 3000 grit paper, it is ruined!! So how DO YOU sand a part for painting you ask?? Well, when it comes to plastic, all it takes is just some scuff pads. You can get them anywhere really... here is a link to some on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B009SUER98All you do, is scuff up the finish of what you want to paint. You don't need to sand it down. Sanding it would be to remove imperfections and dings, and even then, you'd wanna use maybe a 600 grit since it is plastic. I'd even wet sand it with 600 to be on the safe side. But typically, you would NOT sand. The reason you are scuffing the parts up, is so that the paint has something to cling to. Think of what would happen if you painted a piece of glass. With the surface being so smooth, the paint simply would not stick very well. Same concept on plastic parts. Just a simple scuff is all you need to do. After you have scuffed it up, you'll wanna clean the surface. A bees wax tack cloth works well, but first, clean it well with some alcohol wipes. You can get those online as well: www.amazon.com/dp/B00DK2BA4UYou want to be sure any fine dust particles and contaminates are gone before applying your primer and secondary and clear coats.

Floyd, the only possible way you could make that paint job look anything close to decent, is by filling it in and resanding. Your looking at hours and hours of effort. If you want to do this, then buy some U-POL STRONGHOLD 706. Again, a product you can get on Amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B002M0R900After filling in, smoothing down, drying, etc, it will take LOTS AND LOTS of hand sanding. If I personally was gonna do that job, I'm guessing it would take me a few days worth of effort to have it looking like a brand new, freshly painted part. And I'm a pro, so don't think it would be something you could rush through in an afternoon. Dude, that looks like straight up shit. You should REALLY REALLY research what you are doing first and take it one piece at a time. Fucking up one part is much better then fucking every single one of them up. If it were me personally. I wouldn't bother trying to fix them or paint them. I'd just go to the eagle ATV site and order new plastics preferably in the color you want, or in black or something, and do it right the first time. TRY HERE: www.eagleatvparts.com/Just look for the scooter that has the same body panels as your. I'm not sure, but I think you would need parts from the CY 50-A
