I saw that ad today and was wondering what the real story was. Sounds like you two need to work this out or he will continue to be nasty.

I think pinkscoot is right. He will be nasty for a long time even if you work something out.

What would be the downside of being a little more "flexible" . . in the customer relations context?
NOT challenging your rebuilding expertise . . but even a 50mm BBK should run for a couple of months before bearing failure.

I cant take anything back anywhere after a warranty expires on anything i ever bought.

Well, I am going to be honest here. I would never buy from someone with your attitude. I know you are venting here but he did notify you it was bad before the warranty expired. What if I had one of your rebuilds and it broke on my way to work Monday. Monday is day 26 of my warranty period. I work until Friday and can't bring it in until Saturday, Day 31, out of warranty. That seems a bit (maybe a lot) unreasonable. I'm sure you have lots of reasons why you would not honor the warranty but that is what gets you what you got. Where does it end... Lots of folks go visit family or other activities over Thanksgiving so perhaps that should have been considered as well.

Billy maybe you should consider the fact that he was supposed to bring it by before he went out of town and didnt. you dont know shit, noob.
