I think my winter project will be to reinstall my 47mm bbk on my tao tao. I need gaskets. Do they have specific ones for 47mm kits or are they the same ones for 39mm top ends?
If you are wondering, or are new here, or just don't read my posts because I should know better by now, I loved it when my scoot had a kit but it leaked oil like crazy. Hopefully it was something stupid I did and I won't repeat the same mistake again.

Not a 4 stroke guru, but I think if you are using the stock head you should be able to use the stock gaskets(39mm).

Get a gasket kit for the 47mm cylinder. The base may be fine or you can trim it. If you use a 39mm head, you should still use a 47mm head gasket. You don't really want gaskets overlapping into the bore.

What Brent said. The stock piston is 39mm and the 47mm BBK piston is ..well.....47mm
You don't want a haid gaskeet smaller than the pistun.

This IS my research. I'm asking people who have more experience than me.
