today me and a friend spent the late a.m hours under a bridge fishing the rocks around the pylons. the rain and nice cool water temps produced 27 keeper crapie. we took them home, cleaned them and distributed them among some less fortunate familys we know. also took the last of some venison that id proscesed at the butcher this winter along with 3 fat rabbits. oh! of course 5 of crappie hit the frying pan here. i hunt for sport and dont eat deer nor rabbit so providing meat for people in need or old timers that cant make the hunt anymore has became my way of giving. just thought id share in my adventure for the day kinda as a way of saying theres always a way to be helpful to our fellow brothers even if were as broke as them.

greggkinney I commend your generosity. I'm not a hunter and have no desire to do it but I'm glad that there are responsible hunters out culling the herd and making sure the meat isn't wasted.

That's a nice thing to do. You get the enjoyment, and someone gets an unexpected helping hand.
