I posted this in a few other forums I got my head for my xingyue ita 150 today. I placed the rocker assembly on top of it and it doesn't match up Am I missing something? Did I order the wrong part? Are there supposed to be spacers? I'm confused

ok....here we go. stay with me on this I planned on returning the head I bought and got another one from scrappy. Also a gy6b. sold specifically for 16 inch wheel scooters. It didn't have the 2 bold cover so I just got a new cover. The rocker arms fit fine but the holes don't line up. The stud holes are ok but the ones off to the side don't match. Looking at the head I first purchased everything lines up. So I wonder are the Valves too long on the head in the first post?

is the oringinal head not worth rebuilding? hate your havingso much trouble, can get costly. The original head was wasn't wit the bike. It was a craigslist trade and I thought "157qmj? I can get parts anywhere!" I've only been futzing with scooters for a year or two but I should know better.

I found this on line www.kazumausaparts.com/index.php?cid=4958I called the guy and we talked a bit. I sent him pictures of my cylinder and measurements. We'll see what he says Also, and this may be the more logical solution, one of the local shops has a 2 bolt engine sitting on a shelf he wants to get rid of. It's number is LB1P57QMJ. It came off a 16 inch wheeled 150 with a rear drum brake. It's not a drop in solution since I have front and rear discs but if all the bolts line up the 100 buh he wants for it would be well worth it.
