im looking to add a better clutch to my set up. i have a qmb139 50mm bbk, ported head, a9 cam, 20mm cvk, ncy golden pulley, pg aluminum driveface. my clutch is a stock kymco peoples 50 2t clutch (drilled) and bell ncy red clutch springs and a malossi mhr white contra. im either going to go 52mm or stay at 50mm and go to airsal piston and give it a small spray of giggle gas. i really like the idea of being able to use weights in the clutch to fight slip. the kymco clutch is done for, god rest it soul it has been abused. im liking the thoughts of an adjustable racing type clutch. anybody have experience or know any pros/Cons or anything to say good or bad about any if these. or do you think its a wast and i should go with a fly, or hoca or something more like a performance stock style? oh by the way the dr pulley hit is not in the running lol little rich for my blood unless i find a reduced one malossi delta- am i correct un thinking you have two slots for springs plus the weights to asjust pad to bell preasure? stage6 sport pro- two spring slots and its a stage6!! stage6 torque control polini 2g evo3 .... ive got a couple more to add when i find my list in the morning. the ambians tell me to sign off for the night.😳 thanks everyone!!!

So I have almost the same setup as you. I have been running stock clutches for a while, the first one (factory stock) had the curved angles in the torque driver and the second (aftermarket "stock") had straight grooves but at a greater angle. The first one needed stiffer contra springs and the second one needed softer. I kinda liked the first one better.
I just ordered a "performance racing clutch" from eBay for 69.99, I'll see how this one is set up and let you know. It comes with 2k clutch springs and a 1.5k contra. I might put my 1k contra in but I guess it depends on the torque driver angles.
I'm with you on the Dr. Pulley HiT clutch. I would love to have it but at 250, I'll keep playing with these cheapos.

I go through so many cheap clutches I'm almost wanting to try one of the "racing" clutches for $69.95 Problem is...I don't know what makes them "better".
As far as variators? I barely get 300-400 miles out of the Chinese units before the rollers are wasted.
So I have to replace my clutch at least every 1000 miles and my variator rollers/slides about every 300 - 400 miles.
Both shafts are factory tight and within specs.
$250 for a clutch is not even on my bucket list. Not for my 50cc turned "100cc" scoot anyway.
Maybe I need to thrash it harder...do more burn outs and drive it like I stole it?

I just wish someone made GOOD QUALITY clutches and variators.
I don't really need "racing" parts per se for my scoots. (probably because I have sportbikes) But I sure would like parts that hold up a long time.

the malossi delta suites my need quiet well. its hard to dial in to begin with but man oh man it bites hard when you get it right. i bought the mhr springs to begin with and ended up having today get the sport set. mhr's were to high rpm

So now 7k kms later even the rollers havent worn out, when it comes to cvt the material quality really matters.
