I'm going to get a base line of what it's capable of before pulling it apart. This should make for a very fun bike. It shouldn't take much to get it swapped. These use a engine cradle that bolts to the aluminum frame. So it's a matter of fitting it to the cradle. I'm very happy to say the least. I even got the dude to throw in the stock pipe and some extras.

The cdi and coil I got off of eBay for $28 It has an adjustable stator plate and the minarelli puller works on the flywheel. I just need another charge coil for the battery charge side of things and I'll be all set. It even uses the same size chain as the Aprilia.

The stator uses 54mm bolt spacing... Anyone know of a stator to fit the bill. Pit bike, Lifan, moped etc. There is a premade option out there but I like to be different .

FYI,the crank taper is the same as the big taper Mina,I used the KX100 setup adapted to a Mina, had to make an adapter plate and move the pulse coil due to reverse rotation..CDI has a wonderful curve! Keep that iggy if you can,add a lighting/charge coil(or wind one),then its a streeter!!

I'll be using this ignition for sure. Figures though all the links I was looking at earlier this week for the bolt on lighting coil are not working. They are out there I just need to find another source or a mounting plate to wind one on.

Sounds good. Will you be using parts of that pipe?

I'll at least be using the headpipe connection. It won't fit the frame as it is now I'll try to use what I can and build what I need to. This just uses o rings and springs to mount. So to fab the o ring grooves alone would be a pain I'm sure.

No AM6 tuning, my heart bleeds profously I have my reasoning... mainly the port layout and and the cost of gears and clutch to handle a hyper race setup. For what 24 hp... Bolt on this motor for around 30hp and it can handle it. You'll get over it soon enough.

Hope he sends the wiring harness too,the CDI plug is a one off item.. I'd do my best to carefully cut and reindex the pipe,,stock MX pipes have been darn good for many years!!

I've got all the wiring and electrical components I had it running in the video up there. This cdi plugs into the stator plug on this one. So I'm good there. After one final speed run with the original motor I'll work on getting it mounted and try getting this pipe to fit. I'll also need a larger radiator then the original. I think one from a Yamaha Raptor will fit the needs but I'm still looking.
