ok i have a wild scheme that im thinking about and i am wondering about the fesabilty of swtiching the oil injection from going into the carb to going into the intak manifold
and what intake manifold can i get for a 28 mm thorottle body
i was thinking the stage 6 set up as it looks like it has niples on the intake

Sounds like you are thinking about the same mod I've kinda wanted to try. ;D It should be fine to move oil injection to the manifold. It's done often when cars without injection ports are used. I think most of the EFI kits use a flange mount to the intake. You'll need an adapter or to make your own intake to match up. The adapter would be easiest though. The cheap intake sold by scrappydog and PFS and others for big carbs should work for 28mm. www.partsforscooters.com/Welcome?search=hoca+intake

I've been running my oil injection through th intake for 3 weeks now. Haven't had any issues yet. If your intake already has a tap for it, go ahead!

What's the link for the EFI kit? Is that a conversion kit or what?

I've worked it out to use approx 48v, I suppose you could get away with it if you didn't use your headlight much.

Ah yes, hadn't thought of that. 48w is a lot of draw for the charging circuit.

i have the older pump that ony draws 1 amp and there is nothing left to charge the battery and at idle it draws from the battery on me here the ones we get put 1.2 amps to the charge
this would be nice on the kymcos as a lot of them are full dc bikes

<scratching chin> What's the advantage of running the oil into the intake manifold instead of the carb?

well i dont have a carb and matt from ecotrons said the fi doesnt play well with premix
also some of the larger carbs do not have a port for the oil line so with it going to the intake you can keep the oil injection if your carb doesnt have a port for it
