That must be really rare. Could be worth nothing, or a million bucks. I guess the value is whatever someone will pay.

25 plus years ago I had a hirth 800 free air. We had it in a mini modified tractor puller. Used a narrowed pinto rear end that was spooled and a pinto 4 speed. Goofing around we were spinning donuts and hit the pavement. Shattered the trans. Them things really scream and are worth a fortune today because there were so few to start with and so many less that survived. When we were using one they were around and obsolete so we did what we did

we still see a good handful of elder sleds around these parts. recently people have been "digging the gold out" of their backed up packed sheds, barns, and the like. saw a 50's snowmobile at auction the other day, sold for 3500. poor guy has no idea what it'll take to find parts for it though, it's not in as good of shape as the seller tried making it out to be... but if you're into long term restorations, should head out to MN, tons of old stuff seeing light after 30-50 years now
