I've got a Suzuki gt750 lc triple 2t that needs some love. I want to make a cafe racer out of it but for now I think a drag racer would be the easiest. What do they require for protective clothing on a bike to drag race?

It would depend on the track or sanctioning body. I asked one local track about a scooter and they told me leathers, over ankle boots, gloves, and a helmet were required as well as a motorcycle license. I said I prob wouldn't go past 50MPH. They said that's what all 2 wheelers need there. I've heard others say helmet, boots, and jeans were accepted at tracks to run big bikes.
