I went to put the exhaust back on the Venus (after using it for a test on Project 90 earlier in the week) and noticed the rear tire was flat. Looks like it had a small slit that was leaking. Something that I can't plug. Rather than just take the tire off I bolted up my SP3 pipe (fastest/easiest install other than stock since it'll have to come right back off) and wore it out a little more. I pumped it up to 50+psi to keep the tire up as long as possible. Of course by the time I did all of that a thunderstorm rolled in. Screw it. No storm is gonna keep me from putting the hurt on this tire a little. Right after this the fuel line came off so I got to spend some time sitting in a puddle on the side of the road getting it back into place. 2 miles later it did it again. It seems the tygon hose has gotten hard enough that it's no longer flexible so it slides off easily. I got home eventually, so no worries. The funny part is that I rode for about 15 miles and spent some time out there and about 1/2 mile from my house the rain quit. lol It's cool though. I enjoyed it. I ride all the time in nice weather. It's not everyday that I try to freeze myself in the pouring rain and sit in puddles just to get a little video to share. It was quite an experience coming home on a bald, flat, tire in heavy rain. Pretty neat. ;D

VERY COOL!!!! Looks like a lot of fun. That's the kind of thing everyone needs to do now and again just to feel a little better and vent. :burnout: That tire never stood a chance and a great way to go out. Looking forward to the next video on how to change a tire

I've got a tire changing how-to with pics up, but I don't think it would be very professional to release a video of the process. (Language! lol) If it goes smooth it's pretty easy, but sometimes they just don't like to cooperate. I'm sticking the stock wheel and tire on for now. A little 90 90 10. This was a 110 80 10 that had a nice wide contact patch.

I love that GoPro! It's so sweet how you can mount it to see the rear wheel while you're riding.

It's an amazing thing. It's cool that the avg person can go out and buy a cam they use on some TV shows and stuff for a little over $200 with mounts and a waterproof housing.

Yeah, when I wasn't shivering. 60 sure doesn't feel that warm in the rain. I don't think I've ever met a gearhead that doesn't like tearing up a tire or 2 here and there though. ;D When I saw it I though dammit and then immediately, but wait... :burnout:

Holy hooliganism! I could smell that way down here in Arkansas!
Some say the path to happiness involves cheap skinny tires heavy-hittin' 2ts.

I was hoping to head to the OC Cruisin car show on the scoot today (200 mile ride) for some more tire smoke but the stupid storms are rolling through. They always try and get everyone to do burnouts. Dunno if it's worth the fines and points for a burnout on a scoot that everyone will just laugh at anyway. I've seen one vid from that show where they grabbed some dude's scoot and tried to force him to do a burnout. Not cool.
I will say, this sucker pulls the front wheel up easier now with a little smaller tire. Once the tranny gets hot it slips on launch though. Not sure how to keep it cool 100 miles into a trip? It's already liberally vented.
