I have been working on a little project to allow using an H-4 LED headlight in my wife's scooter without cutting plastic to make it fit. This is the prototype I have come up with. I will have to wire a standard headlight bulb 3-wire plug in place of the scooter plug. The led I have is DC so I will probably tie it to the battery through a switch so it can be turned on after the engine is running. Thoughts, suggestions welcome. What's nice is I do not have to cut any plastic to fit one in. I have a little more work to do before I will call it done, I need to capture the new bulb. I have a couple of ideas but for now it fits in quite nice. With the heat sink on the inside I do not think heat will be an issue. Oh this led is a 3000/2500 Lumen. I may seek another H-4 but for now this one I have and I believe it draws less amps than the original 35w lamp (around 3 amp) This is how it looks from the front side.. my .02¢

Nice adapter. I typically use h10 bulbs for my scooter headlight swaps. 9006 is also nice. These are a good small footprint and easy to adapt. I'm using 2 h10 leds in my prebugs headlights now.
