This forum continues to be the most aggravating to navigate using Internet Explorer . . just continuously "locks up" . . then have to delete and reboot! No issues with other Proboards hosted forums . . so speculating a script issue specific to this forum.

I use FireFox 99% of the time I'm on and I can't say I have any trouble aside from occasionally if I'm not logged in and proboards ads are displaying for guests. I just switched to IE while I browse and I'll see if it does anything for me. EDIT : 35 minutes browsing so far and it hasn't done anything strange for me. I'll try to remember to keep getting on with IE for a bit and see how it goes.

tortoise2 Do you have a good malware/ Sys care program? I use Advanced System Care 10. Basic is free and it does the job well.

tortoise2 Do you have a good malware/ Sys care program? Have only been using Microsoft Safety Scanner and CCleaner.
Downloaded and scanned with Advanced System Care . . which found 2 spyware threats . . so we'll see.
Edit . . .
Have restarted the HP Desktop (Windows 10, AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor, 5.0GB RAM, ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics) a few times and the "lock up" issue appears to have dissipated after scanning with Advanced System Care. Scrolling is much smoother. Also noticed the Reddit website now loads and navigates much quicker.
For what it's worth . . internet speeds runs 11-12 Mbps at fast.com.
EXCELLENT suggestion Cincikid!

Usually 'problems' with a site are due to our own system. Big system wide problems are found and corrected swiftly. I have used FF or it's predecessors for nearly as long as we have had PCs around. I was using Netscape during the Browser war with MS when every new DLL file introduced to a system specifically targeted and destroyed Netscape. Microsoft is a nasty piece of work. People keep an eye on Microsofts shenanigans but they keep happening. I still regrettably use W-7 but Linux is next. IE sucks but it is required by an occasional idiotic website programmed by lunatics. It was also spyware for Microsoft just like Bing. Chrome is just spyware for Goggle. Using Chrome is like newbies using one of the spyware 'toolbars' for Yahoo or Google years ago. Now people use Chrome because Google made their 'spyware toolbar' into a full browser. Yeah, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Newbies that haven't been through the 'wars' or with years of experience just don't know any better and use Chrome or other FREE spyware. Nothing is really free. I have supported Netscape-Mozilla for years when I had a few bucks to throw that way. Everyone here should chip in bucks to 49ccScoot when they can, if not for the technical support, then just for the social networking and pure fun!!!
