It looks like the scoop is large enough that you could cut it at an angle to make it face the right direction. That might be easier than separating it and spinning it around to re-glue it, of course the scoop won't be nearly as large though.

Ooops! Those scoops look wild, but I'm pretty sure that there's increased drag going on there.

That might be easier than separating it and spinning it around to re-glue it, of course the scoop won't be nearly as large though. there is NO seprating it, i would have to starto ver with a brand new fan cover and scoop mod, that seal all bonded it for good, the two pieces are FUSED together as one plastic now, The scoop cannot be cut, if i do that there will be no backing for the air to funnel through, but hey i was thinking if this thing sucks air like it does it shouldnt matter which way it is turned right (or wrong lol) Only options is throwing the whole mess out and redoing it, or cutting the scoop away or leave it and say its a nitro relief valve for the superjet installed LOOLLLLL

There's no need to toss it out. I see two easy options. Cut it like the pic below to make a small scoop or cut it straight across to separate the scoop from the original shroud. If you cut it off straight, there's no reason it couldn't be glued back in the proper orientation if you wanted to. All you'd really need for either would be a hacksaw to cut and a little sandpaper to smooth the cut edges.

I hope you don't forget it's there and bust it off with your leg. lol You better put some 1/4 x 1/4 wire mesh inside there to catch the road trash, mice and small squirrels. LOL If you need any parts for that scooter hit me up. I have some used plastics etc...

It looks to me like the shrouds are missing on the cylinder. The air scoop will do nothing without those.

Thats another good reason to have it screwed on and not glued on. If I ever get a temp gauge I can always take the scoop off and see if theres a big difference or not. I'll go take pictures right now! EDIT: pics! The first picture also gives a good shot of my new exhaust bracket. The 3rd pic shows off the GT5 seat that I had to custom shape the foam on so that it would fit into the regular Triton R4 plastic seat frame. What screws did u use to mount urs looks great need to know how u attached it so my can look good have u noticed any differance since u installed it?
