That looks like it was a TGB delivery scoot.(extended rear frame) That and the big wheel up front and a small wheel in the back.

It is a delivery frame. It's got a jog engine under it now, and will have a Dio front wheel whenever I get my bearings.
I may run the tank in the stock location under the seat and make it look like a pickup truck or I may Bob the frame and run a different tank behind the seat, not sure yet.

I was going to use a Key West frame but the carb would have wound up in the frame and I didn't want to have to completely rethink everything to do a rear facing carb.

I know it's not ideal. But you can always shave a slice off of your frame to make room for the carb. I would try to make the rear facing mount first before resorting to structural integrity. But I have done it to me own frame with satisfactory results.

That frame is effectively a stretched key West frame, the engine tabs are farther back, so it leaves lots of space. I'll probably just hacksaw off everything past the shock mounts.

I'm having trouble getting the engine and CDI to talk to each other properly now. I think.
The tank may have to move out of the seat bucket unless I can figure out a way to reroute the throttle cable.
Still working on a front wheel.
Pretty sure this critter will be a bit of a lowrider.

What type of c.d.i?

It's a stock Genuine Buddy CDI and I also tried one of the generic Chinese blue box units.
I printed out a Jog wiring diagram and a TGB wiring diagram yesterday so I can double check how I hooked everything up buy slept too late today to work on it any.
It almost seems as if the timing is off the way it's sorta running.

I was right. I had half the AC swapped with the signal wire. TGB and Yamaha color codes are different. I'll have to make sure to mark these so I don't accidently do it again.

Need to find a longer shock. The one I have has the pipe in the frame.

Need to find a longer shock. The one I have has the pipe in the frame. Depending on length or style. This isn't the exact one I bought for my Spree. But try Amazon. Gy6 shocks for cheap.
