Got the plastics back on. The ones I have at least, lol.
Haven't touched the transmission except to toss half the rollers so it'll actually get into the power band. The clutch end is all wrong for this engine.
My stator is half bad. Only half the AC is being made. My headlight and taillight work but everything else is DC, including brake light, so I need to fix that. The side that's bad is the side I accidently plugged into the pickup side of the CDI before, so I'm thinking I may have cooked it then. My battery kept dying at the rally but I was blaming the battery or bad wiring elsewhere, didn't even think to check the stator. I have two other Mina parts engines, hoping I can just swap stators. I don't have the flywheel puller though so I have to wait until I can get into friends shop.
I want a speedometer but I also want naked handlebars...

So... Since then... Swapped stators and fixed the electrical.
Got the clutch dialed in tighter. Delta clutch. Red clutch springs. Weights in their lightest positions, springs in their heaviest. Yellow contra. Has ball bearings in the cup as it was hanging up at that end.
Hoca Teflon coated variator which I think is a joke as all the Teflon wore off the contact points in a few hundred miles. 3g and 4g rollers.
Tops out around 55, gets there nicely. Transmission starts to bog off the line when everything gets hot. Not sure what to do about that.
